The event is expected to be the first fully in-person industry gathering since the start of the pandemic.

INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 1, 2021) – The Casket and Funeral Supply Association of America is excited to confirm it is moving forward with a fully in-person conference April 12-13 in Indianapolis.

The annual event will feature a trade show, professional development and networking opportunities - all in a safe and socially distanced environment. This will be the first time in more than a year most CFSA member companies have had a chance to gather together to network and make valuable business connections, as association after association had to cancel their events because of the pandemic.

“In the past year, the funeral industry has gone through significant trials and changes, and the suppliers we represent have been there every step of the way ensuring funeral homes have what they need to serve every family who calls on them,” said CFSA Executive Director & CEO Tim Murphy. “As the trade association for the funeral supply industry, we feel it is our duty to leverage our resources to create an opportunity for members to safely come together, renew their connections and forge new ones.”

CFSA has held 14 of its last 15 annual conferences in Indianapolis, and is proud to be back at Indy’s JW Marriott for 2021.

“Indianapolis has a long history of successfully and safely hosting events,” said CFSA Director of Meetings Emilie Perkins. “In fact, the NCAA announced in January it would host the entirety of its men’s basketball tournament in Indianapolis this March because of the city’s capabilities. We are working closely with city, county and state health officials to ensure our trade show is as safe as possible for attendees and exhibitors.”
